Life remained disrupted in Bijbehara town of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on fourth day today due to restrictions imposed by the authorities and a spontaneous shutdown by inhabitants to mourn the killings of three local militants.

All the shops and business establishments remained closed while public transport remained off the roads.

Roads wore a deserted look as people stayed indoors to mourn the killing of three Hizb militants – Aamir, Aadil and Arif – who died in a gunbattle with forces on Monday in Ashmuqam area of the district.
