Pakistan-administered Kashmir Legislative Assembly during its winter session in Muzaffarabad on Friday has “strongly condemned Indian state terrorism and human rights violations by Indian forces in Indian-administered Kashmir.”

Media reports said that the assembly urged international community to take serious notice of these violations.

“The House adopted seven resolutions in which it called upon European Union, OIC and international human rights organizations to persuade India to stop genocide of Kashmiris,” Radio Pakistan reported.

“The House also strongly condemned illegal detention and arrests of Hurriyat leaders and activists in the held territory,” the radio report said.

Through another resolution the House lauded Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for adopting bold and courageous stand on Kashmir issue at international fora, it added.
