The new power curtailment schedule for this winter season in Kashmir will be finalized by Wednesday The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) officials have said.
Sources within the KPDCL told the news agency—KNO said that the corporation is set to finalize its power curtailment schedule for the winter period in Kashmir.
They said it would take one or two days more to complete the process, adding that the schedule would likely be ready by November 03 (Wednesday).
Chief Engineer, KPDCL, Aijaz Ahmad Dar told KNO that the fresh schedule is being finalized with less curtailments as compared to the previous year. “We are working to ensure less curtailment this year,” he said.
However, he said that to ensure less power curtailment, the consumers across the Valley need to cooperate with them so that there is no overloading and power supplied accordingly.
