He stresses that young people taking to bodybuilding need to be careful about injuries which can occur at any time in the gym as such it becomes important for them to workout with the help of senior partner in the gym.
Waseem also states that those who get into bodybuilding tend to lift weights straightaway which is not ideal and suggests a month or two of workout on machines to make the body well prepared for weightlifting while also reducing the risk of injuries.
He says that doing basic exercises in a correct manner right from the beginning is also essential to build a good looking physique. Hence every exercise requires detailed attention and should be carried out under supervision of an expert early on.
Apart from this the champion bodybuilder also believes that going to gym is a beneficial regardless if you want to be a bodybuilder or not. According to him fitness should be the goal of going regularly to the gym, with bodybuilding being a surplus if there is an interest.
Being a bodybuilder and having competed at many state level competitions, Waseem has the exact knowledge to guide youngsters who are keen to get into shape. He says that getting to the very best of your shape is a step by step process and one has to be patient with himself.
One of the taboos in Kashmir about bodybuilding is taking supplements, Waseem clarifies this explaining that supplements are just essential nutrients a bodybuilder takes so as to fulfill his diet plan. It is hard to find wholesome foods and as such even doctors recommend taking of supplements for nutritional purposes.
Waseem Jan has providing bodybuilding training to many boys and says that this hobby or habit can keep you away from a lot bad vices and allow you to focus completely on yourself which is a key part of building a body as well as a rounded personality.
