  • Candidates seeking J&K MBBS 2021 admission must be Indian citizens.
  • Aspirants must possess 17 years of age as on the day of the exam, whereas the decision regarding the maximum age limit for admission to J&K MBBS is still pending in the supreme court.
  • Candidates applying for J&K MBBS admission 2021 under the State Quota seats must be permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir.
  • Aspirants must be Class 12 qualified from a recognized institution of the state.
  • Candidates belonging to the open merit category are required to obtain 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the qualifying examination and 40% in aggregate for reserved categories. PwD aspirants, under the open merit category, must score 45% in the aforementioned subjects in accordance with disability prescribed in MCI regulations.
  • For admission to J&K MBBS 2021, it is mandatory for aspirants to clear NEET UG exam.

J&K MBBS admission – Important documents

With the release of the J&K MBBS 2021 application form, candidates will also have to get their document verified. The process of verification will be conducted in online mode for J&K MBBS admission as they have to upload their requisite documents at their applicant portal. The document should be uploaded within the requisite size i.e. between 100 KB – 200 KB. The list of important documents that need to be uploaded for granting J&K MBBS admission 2021 are mentioned below.

  • Matriculation certificate
  • Date of birth (D.O.B) certificate
  • 12th or its equivalent mark sheets
  • Permanent residence certificate
  • Category certificate, if applicable
  • NEET score card 2021
