CRPF Personnel Held At Srinagar Airport For Carrying Bullets.

A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man was held at Srinagar International Airport  after security discovered that he was carrying live ammunition.

Head Constable Mohammad Kabir of CRPF96 battalion was apprehended by the airport security personnel on Thursday after seven bullets and five empty cartridges of INSAS rifle were recovered from his baggage at the screening counter near the drop gate, reports said.

Kabir, who was travelling to New Delhi, was handed over to the police post Humhama for further investigations.

This follows a series of similar incidents were India security personnel have been held at the airport for carrying live ammunition.
