Free Fire and PUBG are easily the top games when it comes battle royale genre. Both games have seen a massive influx of players making them two of the most played games across various platforms. According to Sensor Tower’s new report, Garena Free Fire outperformed PUBG Mobile to become the world’s highest-grossing mobile game on the Google Play Store for the month of June.
According to the report, PUBG Mobile came in seventh in terms of revenue on Google Play Store, but it maintained its second spot on Apple’s App Store revenue chart for June. Overall revenue-wise, Honor of Kings emerged as the top mobile game for June.
If you talk about the Google Play Store, Garena Free Fire outdid PUBG Mobile by leaps and bounds. The total revenue that Garena Free Fire made in player spending on the Android marketplace is not available. Anyway, beating PUBG Mobile is a big milestone for the game that eventually filled the void after PUBG Mobile was banned in India last year.
