BJP MP Gautam Gambhir is alleging that he has received a second death threat from ISIS Kashmir which includes a video shot outside the former cricketer’s residence.
This comes after he received the first threat from the militant group a day before, following which Delhi Police beefed up the security outside his house.
The second email, accessed by India Today, reads: “We intended to kill you, but you survived yesterday.”
“If you love the life of your family, stay away from politics and the Kashmir issue,” the email goes on to read.
DCP (central) Shweta Chauhan told India Today that a case has been registered in this regard on the basis of a complaint by Gaurav Arora on behalf of BJP MP Gautam Gambhir.
The police have already tightened the security outside his residence and are currently investigating the matter.
