The J&K administration has directed all the administrative secretaries to rotate the employees who have been holding a particular post for 5 years.

The report said that the government officials and officers are flouting the transfer norms.

The official communique vide was issued by the Deputy Secretary to the government Dr. Mohammad Usman Khan.

According to an order, the “Anti-Corruption Bureau, J&K has furnished a report bringing out the issue of flouting of transfer norms.”

The order reads that there has been a report by the bureau that certain officers/officials are continuing at a particular place of posting for years together.

The official communique reads that the Competent Authority while perusing the said report of the ACB, “observed that stays beyond duration permitted in transfer policy should be allowed in exceptional circumstances and directed that all administrative secretaries should be asked to obtain a list of employees who have a stay of more than five (05) years in the first instance and-these officials need to-bë rotated unless there are exceptional circumstances.”

“Action Taken Report, in the matter, may kindly be furnished to GAD, at the earliest, for appraisal of the competent authority,” the communiqué reads.
