Teenager Amaan Zari from Jammu and Kashmir’s border district Rajouri has been selected for India Under -19 side for the upcoming 4 Nations Cup to be played in Dubai.
Officials said the boy is a budding talented cricketer. Son of Aqeel Zaari and Yasmeen Zaari of main town Rajouri, the teenage boy is a student of 11th class and took cricket training in Irfan Pathan cricket academy Punjab.
Amaan Zari said that after taking training in Ifran Pathan cricket academy in Punjab, he performed in a screening test and got selected for under 19 National Cricket team.
He added that after been selected for under 19 National Cricket team, he will be part of this team which will play in four nation cricket tournament starting in Dubai next month.
” I am an all rounder and will try my level best to give best in this tournament,” he said.
Zari gives credit to his Coach Bruce Adams for his success in the field of cricket. “I joined Cricket Academy of Pathans (CAP) and under Coach Bruce Adams, I honed my skills. Whatever I am today, the credit goes to him,” he asserted.
Zari completed his schooling from Delhi Public School (DPS)-Rajouri and later went to Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).
Teams from India, Pakistan, Dubai and Oman have already confirmed their participation for the 4 Nations tournament which will be played under lights in various grounds in Dubai.
