J&K HIGHWAY TRAFFIC UPDATE TOMORROW (11/5/22).

Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH44) Traffic Update Tomorrow.

Tomorrow, subject to fair weather and better road conditions LMVs (Passenger)/private Cars shall be allowed from both sides on Jammu-Srinagar NHW viz Jammu towards Srinagar and vice-versa.
TCU Jammu/Srinagar shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the traffic.

CUT OFF TIMING:
LMVs/private Cars from Nagrota (Jammu) from 07:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs.
From Jakheni (Udhampur) from 08:00 hrs to 13:00 hrs.
From Navyug Tunnel (Qazigund side) 07:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs.
No Vehicle shall be allowed before and after cut-off timings.

HMVs:

Shall be allowed from Qazigund towards Jammu after assessing the traffic situation on NHW.

SFs Convoy Movement:

Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against the advisory/traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. They may ply from Srinagar towards Jammu after confirming the status of NHW.

MUGHAL ROAD

Tomorrow, subject to fair weather and better road conditions, LMVs shall be allowed from both sides & HMVs from Poonch towards Poonch.

Cut-off Timings:
LMVs followed by HMVs will be released from Behramgalla towards Srinagar from 09:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs.
LMVs from Herapora towards Poonch at 09:00 hrs upto 12:00 hrs.

SSG ROAD (Srinagar-Kargil Highway)

Tomorrow, subject to fair weather and better road conditions vehicular movement on SSG Road shall be allowed from both sides viz (LMVs) from Srinagar towards Kargil & vice-versa.

CUT OFF TIMING:
LMVs followed by HMVs will be released from Minamarg towards Srinagar at 06:00 hrs upto 10:00 hrs.
LMVs followed by HMVs will be released from Sonamarg towards Kargil at 16:00 hrs upto 18:00 hrs.

KISHTWAR-SINTHAN ROAD

No vehicular movement shall be allowed in view of snow accumulation.

People are advised to undertake journey on NHW-44 only after confirming the status of the road from Traffic control units as under:
