A minor girl who was abducted from Pulwama has been recovered by the police and the accused has been arrested as well.
Police spokesperson as per a statement said that On 12, March Police Station Kakapora received a written complaint from one Mohd Maqbool Khan S/O Mohd Sultan Khan R/O Begumbagh Kakapora that her daughter age about 15 (name withheld) has been abducted by unknown person.

In this connection a case FIR No. 18/2022 U/S 363 IPC has been registered at PS Kakapora and investigation was set into motion.
He also said that, On this a special Police team was constituted to trace the minor girl. During the course of investigation the special team by utilizing all available means and after strenuous efforts established the presence of the minor girl in Gaziabad Utter Pradesh along with the kidnapper.
After that with the help of local police, minor girl was recovered from Gaziabad Utter Pradesh and also the accused was arrested on spot.
After completing the legal formalities, the abductee minor girl was handed over to her legal heirs and further investigation of the case in progress.
