Two nephews of JKLF chief Yasin Malik have been booked by J&K Police for “attempt to murder” of a police official inside a police station in Srinagar.
Police sources told Srinagar-based news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC), that a shopkeeper in Maisuma market Shafat Bashir Dar filed a complaint against the two nephews of Malik at police Station in Maisuma.
They said that the shopkeeper and the two nephews of Malik, who are salesmen at the shop, had some tiff over some issue about which the shopkeeper filed a written complaint against them.
Accordingly, Shoaib Mohammad Jan and Ishfaq Ahmad Jan sons of Mehraj-ud-din of Maisuma were booked under FIR No. 31/2021 U/S 323, 427, 452, 506.
A Police official told Kashmir Dot Com that at the police station both accused “misbehaved, threatened and attempted to murder’ with a police officer at the station and police registered another FIR No 32 /2020 U/S 353, 307, 506.
Both accused persons are arrested at police station Maisuma Srinagar, he added.
