PSL 2022 Begins Today. Live Telecast, Schedule, All You Need To Know.

The seventh edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) is all set to begin tonight (27 January) with defending Champions Multan Sultans facing Karachi Kings in the opening match.

The opening game will see two of Pakistan’s marquee players Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan go head to head.

Karachi Kings won the delayed PSL title in 2020, while Rizwan led Sultans captured their maiden title last year.

The league will have an added gloss as it will be playing host to three best cricketers in the world right now.

Pakistan won three major ICC awards last week with Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan being voted ODI and T20 cricketers of 2021, respectively, and Shaheen Afridi taking the prestigious Sir Garfield award for cricketer of the year.

A total of 34 matches will be played during the tournament. The final is scheduled to take place on February 27, 2022. The tournament will take place in Pakistan. Two venues have been finalized to host all the matches. They are National Stadium in Karachi and Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

PSL 2022 Match Timings.

When there is only one match in a day, it will start at 7:30 PM IST.

On Friday double-headers, the matches begin at 3:30 IST and 8:30 IST while on other double-header days, the games are scheduled for 2:30 IST and 7:30 IST starts.

In Pakistan, Geo TV, PTV Sports will telecast the matches of PSL 2022.

In Sri Lanka, Sont Six, Peo TV, and Dialog Television will present the live coverage of PSL 2022 matches.

In Bangladesh, Sony Six channel will present the live coverage of PSL 2022 matches.

In the UK, Sky Sports Cricket will present the live telecast of PSL 2022.
