PSL 7: Fakhar Zaman scored a stunning century as Lahore Qalandars beat Karachi Kings to extend their winless to three games in this year’s edition of PSL.
Batting first Sharjeel Khan and Babar Azam made a steady start with Sharjeel taking charge.
The duo put on 80 runs in 10 overs, before Hafeez accounted for the left handed Sharjeel after his half century.
Karachi struggled to get going as Qalandars tightened the screws. Mohammad Nabi was unable to fire and Babar Azam was dismissed for 41 runs with the match finely poised.
Joe Clarke made a unbeaten 24 as Karachi finished with 170/7 in 20 overs.

Karachi made a good start defending the score getting rid of Abdullah Shafique and Kamran Ghulam very early.
But in Fakhar they found a man hell bent on taking the game away from them. Mohammad Hafeez proved to be a strong ally as Fakhar rained sixes and fours.
He targeted an over from Mohammad Ilyas to end Karachi’s hopes and also bring up his maiden PSL hundred.
He was dismissed for 106, but by that time the match was effectively over with Qalandars winning with ease in the end.
