Police sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that prima facie it seems that assailants attached the shopkeeper to loot cash-filled bag from him.
They said, as usual, the shopkeeper Ghulam Muhammad Shah (56) closed down his shop at Khandi Pora village and was on his way to his home at Zogipora village when assailants attacked him and snatched the cash-filled bag.
The shopkeeper sustained critical injuries and was shifted to Sub-District Hospital Beerwah where doctors referred him to Srinagar hospital.
