SMC Files FIR Against Three People For Forging Documents.

Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) has filed an FIR against three people for alleged forgery of documents related to allotment of shops.

An official said, “an FIR against three persons for forgery of documents and cheating related to shop allotment was lodged”, and added, “The trio have been taken in custody”.

He said three individuals were caught with illegal and forged documents in the premises of SMC. “Forged documents including allotment letters, rent deeds and lists with forged signatures of Deputy Commissioner Srinagar and Joint Commissioner SMC were recovered”, the official added.

In this regard an FIR was lodged in Police station Shaheed Gunj and three persons namely Fozia R/O Qamarwari, Muneer R/O Safa Kadal, Muhammad Hussain R/O Buchpora were handed over to the Police for further investigation.
