On Sunday Srinagar was rocked by a blast in the busy market place of Amira Kadal, which has led to two deaths including a 19 year old girl and left 35 injured thus far.
19-year-old woman, Rafiya daughter of Nazir Ahmad Tinda of Dargah near NIT, who was injured in the blast succumbed to her injuries at SMHS hospital on Monday morning, officials said.

She had suffered multiple injuries in the blast which took place at 4:20 hours on the busy street on Sunday.
An elderly person Muhammad Aslam Makhdoomi (70) from Makhdoom Sahib area of Nowhatta Srinagar had died near the spot while 34 others including a policeman were injured in the blast on the busy Amira Kadal bridge.
The explosion took place while the area was abuzz with a huge rush of shoppers who had thronged the week flea Sunday market. Police on Sunday evening detained several persons for questioning in connection with the blast, a senior police officer said. (With Inputs From GNS)
