32 employees were found absent in Anantnag, South Kashmir in a surprise inspection ordered by Deputy Commissioner of the district.
As per news agency GNS, the order followed surprise inspection by the DC Dr Piyush Singla, accompanied by ADC Anantnag Ghulam Hassan Sheikh, to various offices to check the attendance of the employees.
The DC has now ordered deduction of one-day salary of 32 employees marked for absenteeism.
