Weather Update: MeT Gives Forecast For 2 Days.

Latest Weather Update J&K and Ladakh (27.12.21):

Currently, weather is generally cloudy in both UTs with No report of snowfall from anywhere.

Forecast:

JAMMU:

Light to Moderate Rain Very Likely from (27th) with light to Moderate snowfall over places like Doda-Kistawar, Jawahar Tunnel(Top), Pirpanjal etc.

Kashmir:

Light to Moderate Snow(2-3 Inches) in plains and Moderate snow(5-6 Inches) over higher reaches most likely from (27th Evening/Night).

Some places of higher reaches may receive upto 1feet of snow.

Ladakh:

Light to Moderate snow at many places of Kargil and ay scattered places of Leh dist. Moderate to Heavy snow is most likely on Zojila-Minamarg axis.

Overall, barring some places on higher reaches, there’s no forecast of any Major snowfall in both UTS.

1. Drive very slowly.

2. Use Anti Skid Chain(Must)

3. Maintain sufficient distance b/w cars.

4. Keep Lights ON.

5. Control your car with gear( 1-2)

6. Don’t Apply Sudden Break Obey Traffic Rules
