Known for hosting the morning show ‘ Good Morning J&K on Doordarshan, Farah Zaidee is a well known humanitarian and social worker.
Before her journey as a TV host, she made in roads into broadcasting media when she was in 8th standard. She used to go to Radio Kashmir to see her aunt be a radio compere. She would then join the station as a child artist for a show after auditioning.
Her peers to a liking to her personality and her way of speaking eventually making her a compere for the same show. While on air she used to host various shows, many of them being related to women issues.
Farah’s venture into television is recent with almost two years of experience. She hosts the morning show ‘Good Morning J&K’ and the viewers have been appreciative of her efforts. The programme covers issues related to society and talks about opinions of people.
Apart from a TV host, Farah is a humanitarian and a social activist. She has worked for the upliftment of women. Apart for this her work ranges from raising voice for child safety and elimination of domestic violence.
The anchor at DD Kashir, has also worked with projects involving UNICEF, called Safe Schools in remote villages of Jammu and Kashmir. In this project she has trained thousands of men and women , girls and boys on Menstrual Hygiene Management and WASH.
She also worked with NGO’s at local level. Recently she has also hosted programmes on Covid awareness and response.
Farah Zaidee has made efforts to make life better for others and make a positive difference to the society. A humanitarian who has led by example, she is a real inspiration to young aspiring individuals throughout the valley.
