10 Road Accidents, 12 Injured Across Kashmir In Rash Driving On Eid-ul-Fitr.

In a grim situation at least 12 people including 3 kids were injured in 10 road accidents across Kashmir valley on the day of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Police sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that a dozen cases with regard to road accidents were registered in different police stations.

Divulging information about the road accidents on Eid, that mostly involved motor-cycles, police sources said that a couple from Charsoo Awantipora and their 6-month-old son were injured in a collision between a Swift and Alto cars at Chandhara Pampore area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

A 21-year-old motorcyclist Ubaid Nazir Bhat of Rambhama Kulgam was injured after a collision with a Scooty.

Another motorcyclist Mudasir Ahmad Lone of Watlar was injured in a collision with an Alto car at New Bus Stand Watlar Ganderbal.

An unknown vehicle hit a motorcycle on main road Kelam in Kulgam resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist identified as Bashir Ahmed Bhat of Hiblish Kulgam.

A 7-year-old child Mehboob Ahmed Chohan of Gujarpati Zurhama was injured in Kupwara after being hit by a speeding motorcycle.

At Chenabal Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, an Eco car rammed into a poplar tree resulting in the injuries of a minor kid.

A motorcyclist Irfan Ahmad Khan of Krewa Pulwama was critically injured after his motorcycle was hit by an Innova vehicle at Manigam Ganderbal.

Besides, a trooper was injured after hit by an unknown Maruti-800 in Hyderpora area of Srinagar. (KNT)
