J&K Forensic Science Laboratory | Inviting of the applications for the post of Assistant Scientific Officer (ASO) in J&K, Forensic Science Laboratory
Applications from eligible candidates are invited for engagement as Assistant Scientific Officer in J&K FSL on a contract basis in different disciplines.

1. ASO, Narcotics: 03 Posts
– Qualification: Masters Degree in Chemistry / Biochemistry /Pharmacology/ Forensic Science with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized university recognized by UGCalong with Pass Certificate of FACT.
2. ASO, C&T: 06 Posts
– Qualification: Masters Degree in Chemistry / Biochemistry /Pharmacology/ Forensic Science with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized university recognized by UGCalong with Pass Certificate of FACT.
3. ASO, Physics: 03 Posts
– Qualification: Masters Degree in Physics/ Applied Physics/ Biophysics/ Electronics/ Forensic Science with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized university recognized by UGCalong with Pass Certificate of FACT.
4. ASO, Ballistics: 03 Posts
– Qualification: Masters Degree in Physics/Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/ Forensic Science with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized university recognized by UGCalong with Pass Certificate of FACT.
5. ASO, Biology/Serology: 03 Posts
– Qualification: Masters Degree in Zoology/ Botany Microbiology/ Bio-Technology/ Biochemistry/ Life Science/ Genetics/ Molecular Biology / Forensic Science with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized university recognized by UGCalong with Pass Certificate of FACT.
6. ASO, DNA: 01 Post
– Qualification: Masters Degree in Zoology/ Botany Microbiology/ Bio-Technology/ Biochemistry/ Life Science/ Genetics/ Molecular Biology / Forensic Science with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized university recognized by UGCalong with Pass Certificate of FACT.
7. ASO, Documents: 03 Posts
– Qualification: Masters Degree in Physics/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Forensic Science a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized university recognized by UGCalong with Pass Certificate of FACT.
8. ASO, Cyber Forensics: 03 Posts
– Qualification: Masters Degree in Physics/ Electronics/ IT/ Computer Science/ Forensic science a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized university recognized by UGCalong with Pass Certificate of FACT.
ELIGIBILITY:
1. Applicant should be Domicile of J&K.
2. The application of the candidates who have not qualified Forensic Aptitude and Caliber Test (FACT) conducted by MHA shall not be considered.
3. Applicant should not be less than 18 years and more than 40 years of age as on 1-1-2022
