34 persons from outside have brought properties in Jammu Kashmir after the abrogation of article 370, with 33 being purchasing land in Jammu and one in Ganderbal, Government informed the parliament on Tuesday.

Minister of State for Home Affairs (MoS) Nithyanand Rai informed the house that thirty-three outsiders have purchased land in the Jammu division and one in Kashmir valley’s Ganderbal district after the BJP government abrogated Article 370 and scrapped permanent residence laws.
“As per the information provided by the government of Jammu and Kashmir, 34 people from outside the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir have bought properties in the UT of J&K after abrogation of Article 370,” he said replying to a written question.
The owners who have sold the land to the outsiders are residents of Jammu, Reasi, Udhampur and Ganderbal district.
