As the war between Russia and Ukraine intensifies with many Kashmiris stranded in the region Divisional Administration Kashmir has established a 24-hour helpline desk to assist them in the crisis.
“In view of the Ukraine Russia crisis a 24 hour helpline desk has been established for the students, residents from Kashmir who are stuck in Ukraine. For any sort of assistance from the government, the concerned and their family members can contact on phone numbers 01942457312 and 01942473135, ” the official said.

As per the officials, the administration has also established emergency control rooms in every district and has also appointed the nodal officers in every district.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has also opened a 24-hour helpline to assist Indian students trapped in Ukraine followed by the measures by the respective state, UT governments for their respective nationals.
The ministry has also set up a control room in the capital New Delhi to provide information and assistance to families or relatives.
