A policeman was shot dead in Gudoora area of Pulwama district on Friday, an official said.
Constable Reyaz Ahmad Thoker S/O Ali Mohammed was fired upon by the militants inside his residence in Gudoora on Friday morning, a police spokesperson said.

He said that Thoker after receiving bullet injuries, was rushed to district hospital Pulwama for treatment from there he was shifted to Army base hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
