SPO Shoots Himself Dead In Doda.

A Special Police Officer (SPO) shot himself dead with his service rifle in Doda area of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday morning, official sources said.

News agency GNS reported that SPO identified as Gurmesh Singh, a resident of Gandoh, shot himself with his service rifle at Sessions Court Doda leading to his on spot death.

Confirming the incident, a police official said that investigations into the matter have been taken up to ascertain the possible reason for the individual taking such an extreme step.
