“The killing of three militants is a huge loss for Kashmiri nation. Youth give their great sacrifices for the pious cause of Kashmir’s freedom from Indian occupation,” Geelani told KNS over phone.

Hurriyat (G) chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani has called for Valley-wide shutdown tomorrow over the death of three militants in an encounter in Siligam village of Anantnag district.

“The killing of three militants is a huge loss for Kashmiri nation. Youth give their great sacrifices for the pious cause of Kashmir’s freedom from Indian occupation,” Geelani told KNS over phone.
Geelani asked people to observe a complete shutdown tomorrow (Tuesday) against the killing of militants.
“Youth who are martyred in encounters with Indian Army is our collective loss, and to honour their sacrifices, we should remain steadfast in our struggle for right to self determination,” he said.
Three Hizbul Mujahideen militants, all from Bijbehara, were killed in an encounter with army and police in Siligam village in Ashmuqam area of Anantnag district.
