IIT Jammu Jobs IIT invites online applications from enthusiastic candidates to fill following post for Institutional services on contract basis.

Name of the post: English Language Instructor

Age Limit 35 Years

Contract Period 01 Year

Salary Package Rs.55000/- to Rs.70000/- (Per month- consolidated)

Eligibility Criteria

(a) Masters in English language teaching/ Communicative English/English with at least 60% mark.

(b) At least one year of English language teaching experience in UG/PG level. Preference shall be given to the candidate having experience in CFTIs.

(c) Must possess good communication, presentation and innovative language teaching skills.

2. Desirable:

(a) B.Ed/M.Ed/PhD in Communicative English/English language teaching/English

(b) Experience in content creation, media, Journalism

3. General Instructions:

(a) Candidates should read carefully the requisite minimum essential qualifications, age and eligibility, experience criteria etc. laid down in the advertisement.

(b) The engagement shall be purely on Contract basis. Please note that this is purely a temporary appointment, and selection does not entitle for any claim what–so–ever of permanency or regularization against any regular post or any vacancy arising in future in this or any other cadre/post on the basis of this service. The Institute can fix the consolidated salary lower/ higher in the given range.

(c) No claim for any service benefit like PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Seniority & Promotion etc. from this contract appointment will be admissible. (d) There is no application fee for Application form.

(e) Shortlisted candidates shall be called for an Interaction evaluation/Interview. Mere qualifications may not ensure shortlisting, and Institute may apply higher than minimum cut off criteria to ensure reasonable number of candidates. The Candidate needs to bring all the original documents for verification during interview.
