KCCI flays Jammu Chamber for serving deadline.

Asks it to hold Jammu Bandh in solidarity with people of Kashmir
Srinagar:

The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCC&I) at an emergency meeting held on Thursday deplored the deadline served by the Jammu Chamber of Commerce & Industry to the Kashmir civil society for holding an intra-region dialogue with the aim to end the present crisis of Kashmir.

KCC&I held the meeting under the chairmanship of its President Mushtaq Ahmad Wani

KCCI, in a statement, said it is of the firm belief that for a durable peace and prosperity of the State it would appreciate the Jammu Chamber to impress upon the Government of India to initiate an unconditional dialogue with all the stakeholders for amicably working out the final settlement of the Kashmir issue.

“KCCI assures that intra region dialogue will follow such a dialogue,” read the statement.

It said KCC&I expects the Jammu Chamber to play a responsible role at this critical juncture and hold the proposed Jammu Bandh on August 20 in solidarity with the people of Kashmir and condemn the killing, maiming, blinding and atrocities being committed on the unarmed people.
