Three people were injured, one of them critically, in clashes with government forces in Batpora area of Khanabal in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday.

One of the injured, with a shredded elbow, has been referred to Srinagar in critical condition, said a doctor.

“He has multiple pellet injuries in the forearm,” said Medical Superintendent District Hospital Anantnag Dr Majid Mehrab.

He has been identified as Bilal Ahmad of Batpora.
