Breaking News: J&K Admin sacks 6 employees for having Terror Links

The J&K administration on Wednesday sacked six of its employees for having terror links. They were reported to be working as overground workers, news agency ANI reported.

Early reports say among those dismissed were two police constables.

According to available reports, the government initiated steps after a designated committee in the Union territory formed to scrutinise and recommend cases under Article 311(2)(c) of the Constitution of India suggested that the six employees be removed from government service over terror links.

Last week, the UT administration had said government employees would not be issued a passport unless they got a vigilance clearance from their respective departments.
