India Hits Out Pakistan at UNGA, Says “J&K as well as Ladakh will always be an integral part of India”

India hit out at Pakistan at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA),for raking up Kashmir at UNGA and harbouring terrorists after Imran Khan once again stirred the Kashmir issue at the UN platform.

India’s first secretary Sneha Dubey responded to Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s remarks on Kashmir.

“We exercise our right of reply to one more attempt by the leader of Pakistan to tarnish the image of this august forum by bringing in matters internal to my country and going so far as to spew falsehoods on the world stage,” she was quoted by ANI.

Further, Sneha Dubey accused Pakistan of being an “arsonist disguising itself as a firefighter” by harbouring terrorists and called upon the neighbouring country to “immediately vacate all areas under its illegal occupation”.

She said this was not the first time the leader of Pakistan had “misused platforms provided by the UN” to propagate “false and malicious propaganda” against India.

India’s delegate Sneha Dubey claimed that Pakistan PM Imran Khan was trying to divert the world’s attention from the “sad state of his country where terrorists enjoy a free pass while the lives of ordinary people, especially those belonging to minority communities, are turned upside down”.

India, on the other hand, is a “pluralistic democracy with substantial population of minorities who have gone on to hold highest offices in the country”, she said.

“Member states are aware that Pakistan has an established history and policy of harbouring, aiding and actively supporting terrorists. This is a country that has been globally recognised as openly supporting, training, financing and arming terrorists as a matter of state policy,” she was quoted by ANI. She reportedly accused Imran Khan of trying to justify acts of terror even in his speech at the UNGA.

Finally, Sneha Dubey emphasised that the entire union territories of Jammu and Kashmir as well as Ladakh “were, are and always will be an integral and inalienable part of India”. “This includes areas that are under illegal occupation of Pakistan. We call upon Pakistan to immediately vacate all areas under its illegal occupation,” she said.
