Hurriyat (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani was detained on Friday after he came out of residence and marched towards Eidgah as part of programme issued by the joint resistance leadership.

The resistance leadership has asked people to march towards Eidgah today and offer joint congregational prayers there.
