England beat Bangladesh with ease in their Group A clash in the Super 12 of T20 World Cup to move top of their group.

It is two wins out of two for England while Bangladesh suffer another loss after they were humbled by Sri Lanka a few days back.

Batting first Bangladesh struggled to come to grips with the bowling of Moeen Ali and Liam Livingstone both hampering them, and picking wickets. Bangladesh were 26/3 in the final over of powerplay.

Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah then repaired some damage but failed to accelerate at the end with wickets falling at regular intervals. Nasum Ahmed scoring 19 runs of 9 balls helped the total to 124 runs at the end of 20 overs.

In response Jason Roy took charge and blew away any hopes of a Bangladesh upset. Even after Jos Butler got out for run a ball 18 runs, Roy kept going alongside Dawid Malan.

He would finally depart for 61 runs of 38 runs with the score 112 runs. Jonny Bairstow and Malan would then steer England with 29 balls to spare.

England 126 for 2 (Roy 61, Malan 28*, Shoriful 1-26) beat Bangladesh 124 for 9 (Mushfiqur 29, Mills 3-27, Livingstone 2-15) by eight wickets

Namibia Continue Memorable Run

Having beaten favorites Ireland in the first round to qualify for Super 12, Namibia notched up another impressive win over Scotland.

Scotland were crushed by a superior Afghanistan side in the first game, but this defeat against a similar strength opposition will hurt more.

After winning the toss Namibia put Scotland to bat and soon the Scots found themselves in grave trouble at 2/3 inside the first over.

Mathew Cross and Michael Leask then put on a partnership that helped them recover with the Scots reaching 109/8 in 20 overs.

Namibia lost their way after a steady start and found themselves in a tricky spot with 67/4 in 12.3 overs. But David Weise and JJ Smit guided the chase with ease to ensure Namibia start of Super 12 with a fantastic win.
