Agra Court Extends Judicial Remand of Kashmiri Students Till 7 Dec.

Three Kashmiri students who were booked for sedition for allegedly sharing anti-national posts on social media after Pakistan’s victory over India at the ICC T20 World Cup, have their judicial remand extended till December 7th by Agra Court.

In a tweet, Nasir Khuehami, who is National Spokesperson Jammu and Kashmir Student Association informed that, “Agra Court has extended the judicial remand of the 3 Kashmiri students, booked on the charges of sedition till December 7. Also, Allahabad high court has fixed Dec 10 as the next date of hearing into the students petition, seeking transfer of the case frm Agra to Mathura.”

The accessed have been identified as Arsheed Yusuf, Inayat Altaf Sheikh, and Showkat Ahmed Ganai.

All three are engineering students at the Raja Balwant Singh College in Agra. Arsheed Yousuf and Inayat Altaf Sheikh are in their third year of college, and Showkat Ahmed Ganai is in his fourth.
