The deceased was identified as Naseer Ahmad, son of Ghulam Hassan Bhat.

Doctors at SDH Seer Hamdan said that Ahmad was brought dead to the hospital with multiple pellet injuries.

Over 50 people have been injured in the forces’ action on people protesting against the high-handedness of the forces who residents said had barged into their homes and thrashed inmates.
