Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, head of the Jammu Kashmir Waqf Board, on Sunday said that those who have occupied the wakf land in Jammu Kashmir will soon face bulldozers.

According to media reports, Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi was addressing a one-day conference of the Wakf Board.

In her address, Dr. Darkshan warned all those who have encroached upon the Wakf Board land and constructed an illegal structure on it.

Addressing the press, she warned, “All those who have encroached upon the Waqf Board land and constructed illegal structures on it. Soon the board will launch a demolition drive across Jammu Kashmir to remove the illegal occupation of the encroachers and restore the ownership of Waqf land and property including mosques, mazars, and houses. The occupiers of Waqf land and property will soon have to face bulldozers.”

She further said that it is a warning to all encroachers who occupy the Wakf Board’s mosque, Mazar or any kind of property through the media to come to us and surrender their illegal occupation, otherwise, they will have to face bulldozers.

According to the report, the one-day conference of the Wakf Board was led by Dr. Andrabi, in which board members Dr Ghulam Nabi Halim, Syed Mohammad Hussain, CEO, Jammu and Kashmir Wakf Board Mufti Farid, all the administrators of wakf managed religious places were also present.
