FSSAI Internship For Students: Check Eligibility, Stipend, How To Apply.

Food Safety & Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), has invited students for internships.

FSSAI  will provide students with unique learning opportunities in different areas of food regulation of food safety administration.

Eligibility Criteria

Students who are pursuing a full-time or regular Graduate/Post Graduate Degree/higher degree from a Recognized college within India/ abroad, in any of the following:

Those Pursuing PG Degree/B.Tech/BE from a recognized college or Institution in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Food Technology or Food Science & Technology or Food & Nutrition or  Edible Oil Technology or Agricultural or horticultural Sciences or Industrial Microbiology or Toxicology or Microbiology or Dairy Technology or Public Health or Life Science or Biotechnology or Fruit & Vegetable Technology or Food Safety & Quality Assurance.

·         Business Administration & Management including policy regulation & related fields.- Only at FSSAI (HQ)

·         PG Diploma or Degree in, Journalism, Mass Communication & Public Relations.

·         B.E. / B. Tech (Only 3rd and 4th Year students not for 2nd or 1st Year) in Computer Science/Information Technology Software Engineering or related Stream.

·         PG Degree/Diploma in Public Policy Public Administration. – Only for FSSAI (HQ).

·         Bachelor or Master of Law.- Only for FSSAI(HQ)



Stipend

A stipend of Rs. 10,000 for the whole internship period would be given to the deserving Interns on the recommendation of the Office or Division that they are connected with by the respective FSSAI (HQ)/Regional Offices/Laboratories.

The criteria for deserving interns will be based on their attendance, assessment by their respective reporting officers & evaluation of the report by the Committee.

Note– Interns will have to bring their own laptops. FSSAI will provide only the working space, internet facility, and other necessities but would not cover local lodging and travel facilities. It will not bear the expenses of any Boarding.

How to Apply

Interested students can apply online in the specified format according to the guidelines provided by FSSAI.

Candidates, who have applied for internships in previous months, need to apply again.

The shortlisted applicants will be required to submit a short write-up/presentation for final selection.

The final list of shortlisted candidates along with their date of joining & Internship tenure will be announced online on the FSSAI website by the respective office where they have opted for an internship.
