Grenade Attack In Budgam, No Casualties.

A grenade was lobbed at Police Station Budgam on Tuesday night by unknown militants, however no casualties were reported in the incident.

They said the militant lobbed the grenade at police station around 21:15 hours. The device, they said, exploded outside the gate. However, they said, alert sentry fired upon the militant but they managed to escape, taking advantage of the darkness.

They said the area has been cordoned off and searches have been carried to nab the attackers. A police officer told GNS that a case has been registered and further investigations taken up.
