Income Tax Recruitment Age Limit: (As on 31/08/2022)

Inspector of Income Tax: 18 – 30 years

Tax Assistant: 18 – 27 years

Age Relaxation – 05 years in case of Sportspersons / 10 years for SC / ST.

Income Tax India Sports Recruitment Games: Athletics, Body Building, Boxing, Carrom, Cycling, Deaf Sports, Football, Handball, Judo, Karate, Para Sports, Powerlifting, Swimming, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Volleyball, Weightlifting, Wrestling and Yogasana.

Income Tax Recruitment Salary:

Inspector of Income Tax: Pay Level 7 (as per 7th CPC) corresponding to pre-revised Grade Pay of ₹ 4600/- in PB-2 ₹ 9300 – 34800/- of 6th CPC.

Tax Assistant: Pay Level 4 (as per 7th CPC) corresponding to pre-revised Grade Pay of ₹ 2400/- in PB-2 ₹ 5200 – 20200/- of 6th CPC.

Income Tax Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:

Inspector of Income Tax: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.

Tax Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent (AND) Having Data Entry Speed of 8000 Key depressions per hour.

Income Tax Recruitment Selection Process:

The applications will be scrutinized and eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of evaluation of their best three performaneces in last 04 years (2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021).
