The higher reaches of Kashmir as well as some plains received fresh snowfall.
Shopian plains has been recorded 2-3 inches of snowfall while its higher reaches received 8-12 inches of snowfall.
In Kulgam and Anantnag districts plains has also recorded fresh snowfall with snow accumulation ranging between 1 cm to 2 inches though their higher reaches received more than 12 inches of snowfall.
Plains of Pulwama also received light snowfall. Central Kashmir experienced intermittent rainfall since yesterday. Higher reaches of central Kashmir like Sonamarg, Zojila pass, and doodhpatri received moderate to heavy snowfall. Doodhpatri 1 feet, and Sonamarg 1.5 feet.
In north Kashmir higher reaches like Gulmarg, Gurez, Razdan top , Z Gali and Sadhna pass received moderate to heavy snowfall. However its lower areas received rainfall with very light snow, Kashmir Weather Forecast
