Surprise Market Checking intensified in Khalhar Kokernag

A Surprise Market checking was conducted in Khalhaar area of Kokernag by a team of officials led by Tehsildar Kokernag Syed Muiz Qadri along with revenue staff.

“The checking was aimed at ensuring the quality and price control and to keep a vigil on erring traders,” officials said.

During the inspection, rotten Vegetables,Fruits were spoiled besides expired food items like Dal,Chips,Ghee,Turmeric Powder worth amount of 15000 were recovered and destroyed on spot during market Checking.

if shopkeepers found violating the legal regulations will be dealt as per law Tehsildar Syed Muiz Qadri added;

He also urged upon the people to avoid the use of polythene so that the pollution in the area can be minimized.
