Nine of them were arrested at Hawal with stake money of Rs. 47640 and three at Nowpora with stake money of Rs. 8560, he said.
Police arrested twelve gamblers and recovered stake money of Rs. 56200 from the gambling spots.
A police spokesperson said that police parties from Police Station Nowhata and Khanyar under the supervision of SDPO Khanyar Mir Ejaz conducted two raids near Islamia College and Nowpora.
Twelve gamblers were arrested, he said.

Srinagar police has registered two cases FIR number 105/2015 and 79/2015 under section 13 gambling act at Police Station Nowhata and Khanyar respectively, he added.
