‘PUBG’ New State Launched: All You Need To Know, Features, Specifications, Server Issues.

South Korean publisher Krafton has launched PUBG New State a futuristic battle royale game. The game is available for download in more than 200 countries around the globe including in India at 4:00 UTC (9:30am IST) on Thursday.

New State is only a mobile game and cannot be played on PC and consoles.

The game has been rolled out globally in many countries including India. Of course, the gamers in India are particularly excited about it because PUBG was banned last year.

“Hello Survivors! Due to current server issues we’ve decided to postpone the official launch of the game TWO hours to 06:00 (UTC). We apologize for any inconvenience. Please refer to the official website for more details,” the tweet from PUBG New State’s official Twitter handle said.

NEW STATE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

PUBG: New State, along with new gaming experience, is also expected to bring improved graphics than the PUBG Mobile or BGMI. The game might also feature HD resolution graphics to the game.
For Android:
CPU: 64-bit (ABI arm64 or higher)
RAM: 2GB or higher
OS: Android 6.0 or higher
Open GL 3.1 or higher / Vulkan 1.1 or higher
For iOS
The game will be compatible with iOS13 or iPad OS 13 or newer with at least 1.2GB of storage.

GAME FEATURES:

For those who are yet to download PUBG New State, the game file is 1.71 GB in size. It can now be downloaded from Google Play Store. Krafton has maintained that the gunplay and game mechanics will be on par with the PC version.

PUBG New State is confirmed to have a new map – Troi. This map will bring back some of the classic Erangel green with more in-depth urban settings like bigger buildings and shopping complexes. You can also expect new weapons and vehicles within the game.

SERVER ISSUES:

Gamers who pre-registered for PUBG: New State were able to download the game from Google Play and Apple’s App Store on their Android and iOS devices, respectively. However, due to the technical issues, they are seeing an “Unable to connect to the server” error.

The publisher, however, announced the delay in the launch just minutes after the game was meant to go live. PUBG: New State is touted to deliver a next-generation battle royale experience to mobile devices — on par with the PC version PUBG: Battlegrounds.

Krafton said in a press statement that the launch of PUBG: New State will now take place at 15:00 KST (11:30am IST) today (Thursday, November 11).

“In order to look into some last-minute issues with the cloud servers and ensure that service is stable upon launch, the official launch of PUBG: New State will be delayed by two hours,” the company said. “We are working to resolve these issues and apologise to all of our Survivors for this delay.”
