Arms and ammunition were recovered from a rebels outfit in Rajouri district of Jammu, army said.
“Based on specific information about the presence of an arms cache in forest area of Sunderbani Tehsil, a team of Crossed Swords Division launched search operations in the forested belt on December 6 and recovered arms and ammunition today,” a defense spokesman said here today.
He said that the recoveries include one AK 47 Rifle, two AK-47 Rifle magazines and ammunition.
“The forested area where the cache was recovered lies in Sunderbani Tehsil in the vicinity of the Line of Control,” he said.
