Sheri Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura has cancelled winter vacation 2022 of faculty in view of COVID resurgence and threat of new virus variant Omicron.
SKIMS follows GMC Srinagar in taking this decision amid rising COVID cases in the valley.
The faculty members have been asked to resume their duties immediately at the institution.
