Walk-in-Interview for recruitment of staff under ICSSR Project

Applications are invited from eligible and desirous candidates for a walk-in-interview for the temporary posts purely on contractual basis under ICSSR Project entitled “Farmer’s Willingness To Grow Organic Produce In North-Western Himalayas”, as per the details given below:

Name of the Posts : 

Research Assistant : 01 Post

Field Investigator : 02 Posts

The interview shall be conducted on 24th August 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Directorate of Extension, SKUAST-Jammu, Main Campus Chatha.

The applicants are advised to bring in their duly filled-in application form providing details of academic record and experience, along with original and attested copies of documents related to age, qualifications and experience etc. with recent passport size photograph on the date of interview.

Terms and conditions :

The engagement shall be purely on temporary and contractual basis and likely to be continued only if the performance of candidate is satisfactory.

The candidates shall have no legal right to claim regularization/ appointment in SKUAST-Jammu by absorption or otherwise against any regular post or any further contractual engagement as the scheme is purely time bound, nonregular and co-terminus with the project.

The engagement shall automatically cease with termination of the project or if the performance of the selected candidate is not found satisfactory, whichever is earlier/ applicable.

The University/Funding Agency reserves the right to withdraw advertised post at any stage, without assigning any reason thereof.

No Objection Certificate from the employer in case the applicant is an employ elsewhere and experience certificate, relevant to the project, in original, if any shall be produced at the time of walk- in-interview.

Selected candidate shall have to produce all original documents at the time of joining.

Maximum age for both the posts is 35 years.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in- interview.

Desirous candidates are advised to keep on visiting the University website for any update regarding change in date of interview or otherwise. No separate advertisement shall be issued for the same.

The decision of Competent Authority, SKUAST-J shall be final and binding in all aspects.
