In connection with Midnight Marathon being organized by Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council in collaboration with Real Time Sports at Jammu on 15th November, 2025 from 11:30 PM on 15th November to 08:00 AM on 16th November, 2025. The Marathon will be flagged off from M.A Stadium Jammu in two phases which are mentioned below: –
1. 42 Kins & 21 Kins on 15th November 2025, Flag off at 11:30 PM.
2. 10 Kins & 05 Kins on 16th November 2025, Flag off at 05:00 AM.
Route(s) of the Marathon is mentioned below: –
a. M.A Stadium – Convent School Gandhi Nagar (U-turn) – M.A Stadium. (5KM)
b. M.A Stadium – Akhnoor Road Flyover (U-turn) – M.A Stadium (10 KM).
c. M.A Stadium – End of Akhnoor Road Flyover (U-turn) – M.A Stadium (21 KM).
d. For 42 KM two loops will be covered of 21 KM route.
A large number of participants are expected to take part in the Mid Night Marathon. In order to ensure smooth passage and safety of participants there shall be some on ground traffic restrictions and diversions: –
1. No movement of traffic shall be allowed on the Marathon route till culmination of the event.
2. Motorists are advised to utilize the route below flyover from Muthi Pulli onwards for their convenient movement during the marathon.
3. General Public shall utilize Gujjar Nagar Bridge for their movement from North to South and vice versa.
4. Commuters plying from City South to City North shall follow diversion from Asia Crossing further towards PHQ Rotary and ultimately exiting through Gujjar Nagar Bridge. Likewise, commuters plying from City North to City South shall follow the diversion from K.C Crossing/ Dogra Chowk towards Vivekananda Chowk and exiting through Gujjar Nagar Bridge.
5. There shall be some other on-spot diversions/restrictions of vehicles during the movement of Marathon participants.
Note: – Only single tube on the entire marathon route shall be utilized during the Mid Night Marathon by the participants during their to and fro movement and the other tube shall remain available for the movement of routine traffic in a regulated manner.
General Public is requested to co-operate with the Traffic Police and to avoid movement on the route mentioned above. Inconvenience to General Public is regretted.
