A woman died on spot after being hit by a truck at Qazigund Adda in Kulgam district of south Kashmir, said an official.

Two persons died and as many were injured in different road accidents in the valley, police said today.

A woman died on spot after being hit by a truck at Qazigund Adda in Kulgam district of south Kashmir, said an official.

In Anantnag, a tractor hit and injured a pedestrian Nusrat Jan, daughter of Bashir Ahmad Sheikh resident of Kadipora at Lazibal near Grid Station.

The injured was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment where she succumbed to her injuries.

After completion of medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.

In Budgam, an Army vehicle hit and injured two women, Jana Begum and Sharifa, both residents of Zalooosa Chrar-i-Sharief at Zaloosa in Chrar-i-Sharief.

The injured were shifted to Bone and Joints Hospital and SMHS Hospital, Srinagar for treatment.

Police has registered cases in all the three accidents.
